Permissions and Reasons

What permissions does the Direct Dialer app ask for, and why does it need them ?

android.permission.READ_CONTACTS, android.permission.CALL_PHONE

These permissions are used to list your contacts, read their number and start dialing them (what happens when you touch the shortcut).

com.android.launcher.permission.INSTALL_SHORTCUT, com.android.launcher.permission.UNINSTALL_SHORTCUT

These permissions are for installing a shortcut and removing it from your home screen.

Is there anything you've missed ?

I hope not, it's a pretty simple app, so I don't need many permissions and I'm personally pretty suspect of apps that want too many permisisions, so I'm glad someone else is reading this page.
